Same here. It's been bugging me a lot recently that I didn't enter this year's contest. (Been on my mind way too much probably, to the extent that it's been getting me down a bit actually, but only one way to sort that out - better practice my photography skills. :P

For me personally, the top five were clearly the best by a long shot. The question is; which will be the top three? I'm glad I didn't have to limit down to three. I didn't enter myself, but I see that quite a few other people did.  ;D I will next year, though.
