It's not gigantic, but here is the bulk of my collection:

They are taking over the kitchen too...

Aren't they lovely, aren't they glorious.

I don't think I've ever seen so many marine reptiles in one collection, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. :)

The rhomaleosaurus really stands out!

ZoPteryx

Tylosaurus

Arul

How long do you need to collect hundreds of them ?  :o amazing... ;D

DinoToyForum

A lifetime, though there are plenty of members with far larger collections than me  :)

"you know you have a lot of prehistoric figures if you have at least twenty items per page of the prehistoric/dinosaur section on ebay." - anon.

Arul

Btw how you keep them clean from dust ? You still clean it one by one ?

Roselaar

Wonderful collection. Somebody sure does love marine reptiles. Which means somebody sure has got great taste. :)

docronnie

I have the same query as Arul. Incredibly awesome collection, by the way. 😊
Keep The Magic Alive and Kicking! :-)

Meso-Cenozoic

I love that video, and the music you chose is perfect! I felt like a kid again, looking at all those figures with such awe and amazement. You have a wonderful collection, Dr. Adam. And of course, your marine reptiles are inspiring to view. My favorite picture is your last one with the track lighting and figures on top of those redwood kitchen cabinets. Such majesty!

I thought I'd answer the question about dust with a visual reference :-[  :-X

The shame! I dust the whole lot, individually, about once a year, and they are due now. I really need a dust proof cabinet or something. If I wasn't so busy I'd take greater care keeping them dust free the whole year round.  O:-)

Emm be carefull sir i think dust inst good for health...

DinoToyForum

Yeah, I know. Our whole flat isn't like this, by the way! The dinos simply get put off because they are such a big job. This is as bad as the dinos get, to be honest. As I say, they are overdue a clean.  O:-)

1. I can relate with the dust problem
2. There's just something really nice about sticking to a theme... that collection is really nice.
3. very nice use of the display lamps (for the kitchen no less) :)
4. who made that light colored polycotilid?

Thanks! The small light polycotylid is by NGHT inc. for Jack in the Box restaurants. It accompanied the release of Sea Monsters, the movie.
