I'm going to make a diarama based on on the the 1961 film Mysterious Island and can't seem to find the bird anywhere.  Has any company made a Terror Bird -- about 1 to 2 inches high?  If so, any idea where I can find one? If not, I guess I'll have to try to make one myself. That ought to be funny!

You would probably want this guy. You can find it here on Amazon.

WaltP

Thanks! He'd be perfect, if he was half the size!
I'm stuck with no higher than 2 inches though.  Even that's a stretch in my scale.

That X-Plus is 4in high. These are what you want but they aren't made anymore(I know, no help) :(  But maybe on ebay. They were made by Ral Partha, 1979. Also what about Dinotales Diatryma or Titanis?

Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

WaltP

paleoferroequine, they would work quite well...  Problem is finding them, obviously.
Pixelboy, the Titanis would work well, but $60 doesn't. Can't find info on size, though.

I think I've found what I need here! Hopefully. Had to move from collectibles into gaming.  Even there it was tough with canceled items.

Thanks, guys...

Not a good pic but about the right size and paintable.

You can never have too many dinosaurs

I suspect this is intended to be Diatryma but it is small.

With only a picture and no information, this is no help at all...

There is also another, disocontinued Ral Partha Phorusrhacos from their BeastMasters line--the wings were separate and needed to be attached, but overall the figure was very well done:

They show up on Ebay fairly frequently as well.

Found the Ral Partha figure (the second picture from SBell above).

Iron Winds Foundry has the molds and can make them.  Picked up 3...

I highly recommend them!
