What a beautiful and personal Recap. Thank you and have a happy new year aswell! :)

(That one Beachphoto from Sardina. Great. I like the roughness of it. Reminds me of the Beaches we have here where i live. Minus the Hills and Mountains. We do not have anything high up here. :D)

Faelrin

I really appreciate the over view you've shared here (and of course the wonderful images of the figures in your collection, and the others as well). Despite being far away from you, it has been quite the relatable experience I've had here as well. I hope we all continue to stay safe (or ultimately survive) as we head into 2021.

Happy new year! Very nicely done how you captured and summarize the year 2020 in photos.
It's great to see some of your photos, they are beautiful and would love to see more of them. I always loved your photos and often been curious about your professional portfolio 😃 stay safe and healthy!

Usually I describe my job as "photography" for simplicity.
But technically I'm not into "still" photography but "motion picture" photography.
Mainly for commercials, fashion, music video and documentary.

( a "food" shooting for a well known company..)

( a pre-shooting camera test)

(..that's me and a small crew on a second unit shooting for a mobile phone company  tv commercial)

Even if not "still" , it's photography after all.. ;D

:)  Do you make some of your own bases or borrow them from other figures?

Sorry but I'm terrible at sculpting.. All bases are from other figures

Thanks, avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres! I'm familiar with Sean's work, but I hadn't seen that one before. Guess it's only available through Urzeitshop?

Sean Cooper's megafauna figures are from an old line mostly out-of-production now.
Some kits have been recasted recently by a small web-shop in US.

It's an unbranded figure from China on Aliexpress

Such a exquisite and excellent way of telling a story. I honestly believe that you could become some kind of film/book writer.
Wish you a Happy New Year. I hope the COVID Virus is treated, and everything can become calmer and less tense this year.
Also did you photo shop that T. rex Walrus that's your profile pic? If so, great work on it, you made it seem well blended

Shonisaurus

Thank you for your summary on what we suffered in this year 2021 and a nice collection of figures and shelves. Sincerely agree with you. It has been a horrible year for all of us, as my case is worse than for another.

Hopefully this new year 2021 will be less tragic for everyone than the one that has ended. I have blind faith that it will be much better or at least one could say much less bad than the one that preceded it, namely 2020.

Congratulations on your haul! Can not wait to see your photos!

Nice acquisitions. You have made a very good and varied collection. My congratulations. You are one of the DTF members who creates the most optimism in the forum for your new acquisitions. Magnificent collection.

Those aparatus... are really something to drool over.

I wish I had a set of those but all I got at shooting is a 4-year-old smartphone (given by my dad).

Well, may 2021 be a flourishing year for us all and I can finally afford my first camera! ;)

The chinese company Recur does cheap and low quality prehistoric figures (with some exception, of course).
But surprisingly Recur extant marine line is really good:

Bull Shark is from Mojo:
