OMG you guys, I just discovered a sci-comm themed band called "The Amoeba People", and they are flipping amazing!  ;D
They have an entire album called "The Fossil Record", and I love practically every single track on here.
Here's a link to the album on youtube, with some of my favorite songs embedded below:
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_mCGCd0ifkWzMZO_IKD8qsn2WsmnT3dFu0

Here's a tongue twisting drinking song dedicated to geologist James Hutton and paleontologist Mary Anning.

Here's an epic western folk ballad about Barnum Brown, the man who discovered Tyrannosaurus rex!

As a dino-freak who grew up listening to Sons of the Pioneers, my heart just about exploded listening to this faux folk medley:

Two and a half years ago a post in this thread by P @PumperKrickel made me aware of an awesome American band called the Doubleclicks which me and my wife had the lucky chance to see live for their very first concert in Germany in a private living room north of Frankfurt. Not only staged they "Dimetrodon", the song that hooked me up on them, but also another "dinosaur" song which I will link you below (it's an older recording, but nevertheless). If you hav the chance to see these folks live, grab the chance (I just forgot to bring my 2018 Safari Dimetrodon which I intended to get signed by them, grrr)

Another King Crimson fan here (or should that be hear?).

Ya, I love King Crimson.

This album is also about prehistoric things

About a pterosaur, not a dinosaur, but still; song by a psychedelic Danish band about riding a Pteranodon, too bad the video doesn't really reflect this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUMaF_wdIE8
Funny for just hearing an attempt at pronouncing Pteranodon in Danish...

Also, how could we forget this Wu Tang Clan video which features CG dinosaurs and a JP reference:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Of-lpfsBR8U
Funny how though those sauropods look very cartoonish, they hold their tails, and even necks, horizontally, the latter which was pretty cutting edge at the time...

this is a neat idea for a thread  :))

first one that came to mind was this.

Haha, so Flintstones was ahead of its time, who would have known...

Also just remembered this Pearl Jam song (Do The Evolution) has an animated intro with some prehistoric animals:

Don't think I've ever seen a 2D animated eurypterid before or since...

Oh and there's of course the video for Right Here, Right Now by Fatboy Slim which shows pretty inaccurate evolution human with funny-looking puppets:

I've featured The Amoeba People over at Dino Dad Reviews! Go give their songs a listen if you haven't before. I especially like "The Ballad of Barnum Brown", all about the man who discovered Tyrannosaurus rex!

I can't get enough of Radiohead these days and noticed two of their songs contain the lyrics "dinosaurs will reign(/roam) the Earth":
