The marine animals look rather amazing if you ask me. The Dunkleosteus and amphibian in particular. Is this the fist mass produced Dunkleosteus that actually has the armor coated in a skin flush with the body?
I think CollectA did it first.

Another thing, no update on the purple mosasaur?
I completely forgot about it, my goof.

Wait, is that a mosasaur? I thought it was supposed to be an amphibian of some kind.

Well it looks like one, either an outdated restoration of Tylosaurus/Mosasaurus, or a primitive mosasaur.
I don't think Recur is ballsy enough to do prehistoric amphibians unless they have a unique shape (ie diplocaulus etc)

DinoObsessed

i cant wait for the basilosaurus but im hoping someone will make more extinct whales.

I was thinking it looked like Ichthyostega, or an (inaccurate) Tiktaalik. Even if it is marketed as a mosasaur I will probably get it and use it as a stand-in for the latter.

Anyone got a release date on these critters? I haven't heard much about them searching online.
Quiet release for latter half of 2018?

It's pretty bad as a mosasaur, but it would be much worse as a Tiktaalik, which didn't have digits and had a much broader head. You could make it work as one of the Embolomeri, like Diplovertebron or something.

Haven't heard anything solid, but that's my guess if they're already advertising in PT.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

By the way I do not understand how these figures of dinosaurs and prehistoric animals (reptiles and marine mammals) revealed when they are not yet commercialized. Does anyone know where they sell those figures? In my case I am waiting for you unfruitfully.

Aliexpress it seems. They do have a website, however it only lists figures, you can't buy toys from there.

Shonisaurus

avatar_IrritatorRaji @IrritatorRaji In my case I look for Aliexpress, eBay and Amazon and unfortunately I have not found such figures that for me about prehistoric marine animals like dunkleosteus or basilosaurus are the best that this company has done.  :(

I would not be opposed to that Basilosaurus...where can I get a hold of one?

PhilSauria

Yet another Carnotaurus?!, must be their year. Wasted opp with that Plesiosaurus, have they gotten hold of Papo's posing guide?

Never did see the second version of their Triceratops from last year - where on earth do they distribute this stuff, 'cause I can never find it.

The weird thing is that new Recurs are not on sale on official Recur' store on AliExpress...  ???

A Toys'R'Us exclusive ?  :o

Shonisaurus

Where can you buy these expected figures that are not in Toys'R'Us stores?

The Toys'R'Us stores are far from my city. I hope they sell it soon on AliExpress, I have been waiting for these figures for many months that sincerely are as good as the prototypes, although the colors are more garish than the figures that showed us months before.

stargatedalek

Toys R Us! Wow, my congrats to Recur. Appearing in big name box stores is a major milestone for a new product line!

Now just to wait until they appear in Canadian TRU...

Roselaar

Oh, I am actually quite liking that Basilosaurus! :)

Loon

If anyone has that Basilosaurus, please
Pm me.

terrorchicken

I like that basilosaurus better than the Collecta one. Also like the icthyosaur.

Dean Jankins site carries Recur.  I have some of the small vinyl figures and I like them.
You can never have too many dinosaurs
