I'm honestly really glad to see that they'll be back in a Jurassic film, as this might be the last chance to do so. I'm going to be cautiously optimistic as to how this is handled though.

And if anyone hasn't seen the news about the animatronics, we're getting another new team working on them, this time led by the guy who worked on the Dark Crystal stuff: https://jurassicoutpost.com/dark-crystal-animatronic-creator-john-nolan-heads-to-jurassic-world-3/

Though with how the animatronics were handled last film, (for the most part, with exception of Blue and the rex), as well as in BaBR, by being mostly covered in CGI, I'm going to be wary about that.

Good news, it always good to have the original cast back.

Main question still remains unanswered: Will Trevorrow make a good movie or will he end this series on a bad note?
He is a competent director, but he's not a good screen writer,  the first Jurassic World worked because he only rewrite some parts of an already made scrip, but with Fallen Kingdom he had basically full control over the script and that showed us that he is not very good at it.

He clearly has passion but lacks skills, if he was only the director and the script was handled by more capable people then I wouldn´t be as worried as I am.
Original cast is returning, dinosaurs are now on the mainland, genetic power has been unleash and now everyone with resources will be able to clone dinosaurs, there is a lot of potential in this movie, but potential is nothing without good execution.

JURASSIC WORLD 3---the child stars of the original JURASSIC PARK, Joseph Mazzello and Ariana Richards, are receptive to returning for the latest sequel. A source said, "that the two leads are both open to the idea,", but "there are no current conversations". The adult stars of JURASSIC PARK, Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum and Laura Dern, are returning for the sequel.

CityRaptor

Interesting. Although I thought Richards retired from acting.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

She was a Painter last i heard, with her own website

Maybe it's for the nostalgia. As far as I know she has always talked in a good way of the experience that was working on the first one.

Interesting video of a new dino animatronic..not sure what species but I'm thinking Oviraptor or hadrosaur.  That tongue is freaky in a cool way.

If there's one thing that keeps me invested in these movies, cuz it's not the story anymore, it's the effects, particularly the animatronics. So, I'm happy to see more of them, and I think your guess about an Oviraptor might be correct.

Faelrin

An Oviraptor would be a nice addition to the franchise, if that's what this will end up being (and of course I would like one in my Mattel collection). I certainly am hoping we get some more new species out of this film though, although I think my most desired ones were in the last film. I have heard rumors about Plesiosaurus being in but well like all rumors take that with a grain of salt (it would be another nice addition if in it anyways).

I wonder if this is the baby Nasutoceratops from BaBR? Really nice animatronic though, but I'm not going to be surprised if this is covered up in CGI like everything in these films have been so far (though FK was a tiny bit better about that at least with Blue and the rex). Also did anyone else notice the tail in the background too? I wonder what that belongs too.

Blade-of-the-Moon

I don't know, I've heard it being called both a triceratops and a nasuto as well. I guess at this age either is plausible.

I did see that tail, fairly tall and on a track system?

Dinoxels

It's probably not a baby Naustoceratops, the head looked a bit different. Gotta say I love how smooth the movements are!

Could they just be the leads? I'd much prefer seeing these two on an adventure than our current mains.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Will be great seeing them back in a supporting roll of some sort. Probably Claire's new tech guy and Owen's still assistant .

I support this 100%. Johnson was my favorite character in JW.

I'm glad to see them coming back, and was disappointed they were not seen once in FK, not even cameos. I hope this also means we'll get figures of them from Mattel too in 2021.
