Well, you point out a problem the Lego community discusses since quite a while. Franchise products are especially hurt by Lego's recent price politics, but it affects also Lego's very own products. Poor or lazy design is unfortunately also a big problem and most likely also responsible for the dropping Lego sales... have a look at SW products or Technic in particular and those problems become more than obvious.

Brickset has a review of the T. rex Transport set up. Have to say, that new paint scheme is very impressive!

Does this thread still need to be in the members' board?
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

I added an image of a polybag set, Baby Velociraptor Playpen, to the OP.

All they had to do was take the pretty decent designs from their JW game, and make them into actual figures!
Missed opportunities right there, tsk tsk tsk.

The game is not the only missed opportunity like that. There is also the movie "LEGO Jurassic World: The Indominus Escape". It features Lego-fied versions of several hybrids and evolved forms from the Ludia game. Here is the part in question. ( For clarification, this video was uploaded by the offical Jurassic World Youtube channel, so no copyright infridgement etc. )

Since Lego never did anything with those designs, they basically made an advertisement for Hasbro's DinoHybrid toyline.  One would think there would be a market for those.
So yeah, Lego is really bad at handling this license.

Speaking of that, there are also these:

Yep,Brickheadz...

Also in May and August there will be two Lego Jurassic World magazines out in Germany and Italy:
https://www.brickfanatics.com/lego-jurassic-world-magazine-coming-in-may/
Looks like the first will contain a Baby Raptor with nest ( Plan to pick that up as my only Lego JW set unless I can find the Playpen for a non-scalper price...so yeah, that is probably gonna be my only set ), while the second has a Pteranodon.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Well, looks like JW won't be the only 2018 line of Legos to feature prehistoric animals:

https://zusammengebaut.com/lego-city-arktis-sets-sommer-2018-neuheiten-alle-boxen-48379/
You get a mammoth, some sort of sabertoothed cat ( looks like a literal Sabertooth Tiger to me ), generic small mammal ( rat? racoon? Scrat? ) and a frozen dragonfly.

I've added images of some of the Arctic sets to the first page. :)

Still missing the Brickheadz on the first page. Personally I have no interest in them, but for the sake of completeness, they should be there.

Magazine is out,

Magazine No.2 will have an Owen figure, not a Pteranodon.

Yep, another Owen. Who looks more like Colin Farrell than Chris Pratt.

Some things from the comic:
Continuity: The story is set in an alternate continuity. There has been an Indominus Rex incident ( involving hotdogs), but the park is still open, and the Raptor Squad and Masrani are still alive. So it is a sequel to "The Indominus Escape". None of the other Hybrids or Claire's Dilophosaurus are seen however.
Zach has a short cameo driving a Gyropshere with his girlfriend.
Masrani is seen playing with a helicopter. ( That's some twisted sense of humor, Leo )
Claire plans to build a rollercoaster ( JP: The game reference ? )
The first  rollercoaster customers ( who also inspired Claire to build it ) are pretty much Zach and Gray knock-offs.
There are two Spinosaurus in the park.
Owen's pack are not the only Raptors in the park. There is a brown baby in the petting zoo and another adult Raptor ( based on the Lego Dino brown one ) and her nest that includes two eggs ( one which hatches into another brown baby during the story ) in the Raptor Paddock
At the end of the story a Dilophosaurus escapes. ( Only mentioned, not seen )

Here's a review of the largest JWFK set. Am I the only one who finds it strange how, in a franchise devoted to woefully inaccurate depictions of prehistoric life, there's a portrait of an updated Dimetrodon inside the mansion?
