I'm personally very partial to 2018 Safari Trike, so that gets my vote. But honestly it's really not a species I focus much on  :-\

Lizerd

Not a species to focus on?  :o Not just because they look cool but if you have no triceratops, what are you going to whack a bunch with your T. rex?

It's been a good run here

By ceratopsian and dinosaur standards, Triceratops isn't exceptionally impressive, and unless you want to be super-accurate when playing with them*, it doesn't have any edge in that regard  :)

*which not many members here do  :P

38 now. We are getting to a respectable number of voters. I have the video ready to go but the votes are so tight the top 10 changes every time someone else votes.  :))

DinoToyForum

Come on folks, let's round this up to 40 at least.  O:-)

DinoToyForum

Surely it is some sort of oversight that the Schleich Conquering the Earth Triceratops is currently outside of the top 10?

...While the Favorite Co. Ltd series 2 continues to climb up the ranking.

Someone, please, justify how you've voted for the latter but not the former. The Youtube comments are going to destroy us. ;D

Yep! Thanks. :) The top four are pretty much set in stone now. Trouble is, with only four votes between 5th place and 15th place, the tail end of the top ten is very much open to change. I was hoping more votes would separate things out a bit.

As one of the largest ceratopsians it's at least impressive in size. Also being one of the last non-avian dinosaurs gives it some points too. I think a lot of people take the classic dinosaurs for granted.

Obviously protoceratops is the coolest! You have a point that classics are somewhat taken for granted

Don't look this way, I didn't vote for either! But I did vote for the disqualified PNSO, maybe I need to re-vote? I would vote for the Schliech over the Favorite, never thought I would say that.

Nor would I, until I started digging out photos for the video. I wonder if voters for the Favorite Trike had a different figure in mind, there are several Favorite Co Ltd figures and desktop models after all, it would be easy to muddle them up.

Sure, you can certainly remove and change your vote for the disqualified statue.

Are we talking about the blue Araki soft model?  The title wasn't all that clear.

edit: Is there any way to include photos of the toy in future polls?  Not sure if it allows a thumbnail, but it would help seeing which model from a glance rather than googling all of them (for those who doesn't know by heart).

Yes, I included a picture of it upthread.

Yeah, I just went back to page 2.  I'm guilty of this, but that's because the head of the Favorite co. appeals to me more than the Schleich.  I'm not a fan of the blue, or the feet, or the proportions of the body, but I think it has a more handsome face.  I don't dislike the Schleich, and I think in many terms it looks better.  But I just find the head sculpt to be slightly off, and I can't put my finger on it.

The blue Araki soft model is the only Favorite Triceratops that would qualify for this poll so I didn't realize it would cause any confusion. I always Google image search a model that I don't know about before voting for it O:-).

EDIT: I added "Disqualified" next to Doyle, so people will notice. Thought about removing it all together but don't know how that would effect the poll.

I think there's the Favourite Kinto series 2 Trike as well.

The blue one is the series 2 Trike. I didn't think one existed for series 1, though apparently it does. I think this is my first time seeing it though.

Oh, Triceratops is a classic dinosaur and I love it all the same, but I have to admit that I'm very biased towards theropods when it comes to my personal collection.  :P

Yes, the soft models were created in two incarnations (series 1 and 2). Series 2 toys were basically just resculpts of all the species in the first series. Not always changed for the better.
