stem-chimaera teeth from the Carboniferous of Scotland

Halichoeres

A bunch of chondrichthyan teeth have been found in the Lower Carboniferous of Scotland, mostly "durophagous," meaning they're adapted for crushing shells (crinoids, mollusks, shelly arthropods). They are mostly from holocephalans, which is to say chimaera relatives rather than shark relatives.
