When I receive a moderator report sent via the 'report to moderator' button, there is a field below the report for moderators to post a comment. I've always used this to respond to the reports and always assumed the person who reported it was able to view that response. However, I've just realised that isn't the case! :-[

So, apologies to anyone who ever reported a post via the 'report to moderator' function and didn't receive a reply. I wasn't ignoring you, I just didn't realise you couldn't see my comments.
