Did anyone else see these color prototype sheets that went up on ebay yesterday? They were BINs and snapped up immediately, so I was not able to get one, but they are still very neat to look at. I inevitably liked many of the color schemes best that were not picked for final production.

My living room smells like old plastic dinosaur toys... Better than air freshener!

I wonder if they are real though ?   I was cheated once by buying some concept art that was just photo-copies...didn't know enough at the time to tell the difference.  It says in the auction they are copy paper..and the low BIN price on each is odd..I bet some collectors would pay quite a bit more and they had to know that.

I saw the comment about copy paper, but I took it to mean that the drawings were printed out, and then colored by hand afterwards.

Link doesn't work for me.  :(
I'm curious what this prototype looked like.

Does that link work for you? Check out the guys other listings, then search his completed listings for "dino riders".

It's some colors for pachyrinosaurus !  :o
The bottom left corner art is great... though a blue horn is a "little" weird. =)

Seijun

If you look at the completed listings there are also sheets for the mammals and the other series 3 dinosaurs.

I like it. I would like to see other marker Studies  ^-^
[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

Hey guys,

I'm actually the one who bought the Pachyrhinosaurus color studies :D. I also understood that the drawings were photocopies but that the actual colouring was real. I checked out the guys website and he seems legit. www.hubtoys.com

I'll scan them and post pictures once they arrive. I wanted to pick up the Chasmosaurus color studies but the line drawings looked terrible :$
If the sculptor has nothing but science his hands will have no art.

0onarcissisto0, I would greatly appreciate it if you would send me scans of the mockups that I don't have on the site so that I can post them for the world to enjoy!
