Sorry for my double post, but here is a big list of dinosaurs, reptiles, pterosaurs, fish, inverts, etc. With few exceptions these are all in my collections. I am almost certain that some of these will appear elsewhere, but I can't find evidence of that now.  Also, some of the Yowies ones are referred to by their genus (often given on their trade paper, but some found through a bit of research), although that was not their commonly-given trade name. I've tried to add that where possible.

[can't include the fossil trilobite Raymondites as it was done a second time for their large-size fossils this year]

One thing I have not included was figures that were not labelled, but were not obvious either and required a lot of guessing as to species. For example, the Excite mammals (of which there are some odd ones) had to be guessed at, but they aren't labelled so they were left out. Some, like the Bargain Shop figures, were given names that are junior synonyms of others; I used the correct names for them instead of the printed names.

So now I say--which ones are done elsewhere? I am certain that I messed up at least a few of these! At least I hope so! There can't be that many one-offs out there...

Anatotitan (Now Edmontosaurus annectens last I heard) was one of the resin hadrosaurs released by Maximo Salas, not to mention the old Marx figure (when thought to be a species of Trachodon).
Barosaurus also showed up in Saurian Studios resin line.
Centrosaurus was also made by Cliff Green.
Daspletosaurus shows up in resin by both Shane Foulkes and Micheal Trcic.
Eotyrannus shows up in Shane Foulkes' line.
Gorgosaurus appears in the Dinosaur Studio's resin line sculpted by Greg Wenzel.
Gryposaurus was done by David Krentz
Microceratus was in the Saurian Studios resin line (then known as Microceratops) sculpted by Mike Jones.
Nedoceratops was done by Cliff Green (as Diceratops)
Nyctosaurus also appeared in Tamiya's injection mold kit series in the Parasaurolophus diorama scene.
Stygimoloch was also done for Saurian Studios by Mike Jones.
Tenontosaurus was done by both David Krentz and Cliff Green.
Also Torvosaurus was done by cliff Green.
Don't you hate it when you legitimately compliment someone's mustache and she gets angry with you?

SBell

See, I don't know the resin/model kits and makers that much, so that is definitely one area I wouldn't be able to tell. I figured that there would be several.

Did any of them do an Einiosaurus? I'd be surprised if Dinosaur Train did the only one (I didn't list it).

radman

I have to admit I'm having fun with this.  Every time I stop to think about it, new dinos pop into my  head.
First, unique dinos might include the 2004 Dino Expo Szechuanosaurus, the Kaiyodo Kitadanryu and Siamotyrannus.  Max Salas made an Omeisaurus.
In the not-so-unique category, Kaiyodo actually made two Barosaurus sculpts, the more common 1:100 version and the rarer 1:35 version.  Galileo also did a 1:40 Barosaurus.  He also made a pair of Gorgosaurs chasing a Chasmosaurus kit in 1:35, although at least one of the Gorgos is available singly.  And finally a Scaphonyx recently showed up on Shapeways; I actually posted a pic in the acquisitions thread a few days ago.
More will come to mind eventually, I'm sure!

I own a nice 1:15 model of Cacops from Tokugawa.  He still has some lovely fish/amphibian/turtle models available, including Tiktaalik.  http://www.ne.jp/asahi/fragi/ragi/e.shop.html
Good luck!  Communicating was a bit of a challenge, but I did get some very cool models from him, including Dimetrodon, Camarasaurus and Allosaurus.  Unfortunately, he was sold out of many others that I wanted. :(

Predators and Dinoz count, right?

Predators has Lystrosaurus aswell, indeed mine is currently in front of me. Anyone has Herrerasaurus?

Dinoz has Miceratus, labeled as Microceratops.
Anyone besides them has: Cryptoclidus, Fabrosaurus, Janenschia, Riojasaurus, Xenotarsosaurus?
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

The Panosh one is a guess, since they never labelled anything.

And I can't believe that my list didn't include the Szechuanosaurus, Kitandiryu, etc, since I have those--I think my query may have had errors in it somewhere.

And I am not sure about the Dinoz, but now that you bring those up, Predators definitely made a Lystrosaurus, so off that goes too!

I'm sure about the Dinoz. You can see all of them here:
http://www.simbatoys.de/de/marken__produkte/dinoz.shtml

I'd forgotten about those, mainly because I don't have any! As unusual as some are, I just couldn't do it--the Predators and DinoWars figures stray as far as I like to go from source material!

Well, those few I have are also mainly there because they are unique ( and were one clearence. ) Still need the Ankylosurus since it makes a good Mini Dino Version of the Aurora/Revell one, who got shafted when Revell made these....

SBell, I don't think that the Yowie Giralia Pterosaur can be called Mythunga. Giralia is in Western Australia, while Mythunga comes from Queensland on the other side of Australia. Also the Giralia pterosaur is older, and possibly an azdarchid.

Are you sure you're not confusing it with the (different) Queensland pterosaur figure, which is certainly an azdharchid?  As fir the Giralia, that was the genus I found associated; either way, it would be a unique figure.

What about the Safari tube Basilosaurus?  I've seen a few other Basilos online, but they look like customs.

See, I don't know the resin/model kits and makers that much, so that is definitely one area I wouldn't be able to tell. I figured that there would be several.

Did any of them do an Einiosaurus? I'd be surprised if Dinosaur Train did the only one (I didn't list it).
Yes,Cliff Green did one and Greg Wenzel for the Dinosaur Studio. :)
Don't you hate it when you legitimately compliment someone's mustache and she gets angry with you?

There is a Medicom figure labelled as "Monster of Lake Van" that is pretty clearly Basilosaurus. But I am pretty certain that there is at least one model kit out there.

Thanks for the effort you put in that exhaustive list, SBell! Much appreciated! I suppose I need to crosscheck it with my latest updated list though? I see several species from my list missing on yours, though I doubt there's any of those obscure species represented by other companies.
Also, Sauropelta can be ditched. Aside from Kaiyodo, Schleich also has one of those. As for Rebacchisaurus, there's that Chinasaur released last year. I'm not sure whether it was labeled a Rebacchisaurus though. Plus, I remember there being a Concavenator kit somewhere, but I might remember incorrectly.
That Waiphoon Stygimoloch, is it supposed to be a Stygimoloch or it this one of your guesses too? Though I always suspected it was one, I also figured Waiphoon might just have put spikes on a Pachycephalosaurus...

Also, how about these:

-Moropus  (Panini)
-Gomphotherium (Bullyland)
-Australopithecus Boisei (Kaiyodo Dino Tales S2)
-Homo Habilis (Bullyland)
-Paleoloxodon (Kaiyodo Dino Tales S4)
-Paraceratherium (CollectA Deluxe)
-Embolotherium (Wild Safari toobs)
-Cynognathus (Panini)
-Meiolania (Kaiyodo Dino Tales S2)
-Montealtosuchus (Wild Safari toob)
-Sphenacodon (Linde)
-Psychopyge (Kaiyodo Dino Tales S1)
-Polyptychoceras (Kaiyodo Dino Tales S6)
-Pleurocystites (Kaiyodo Dino Tales S3)
-Hallucigenia (Dino Tales S3)
-Hypacrosaurus (Wild Safari)
-Irritator (CollectA)
-Paleoscincus (Panini)
-Shantungosaurus (Dino Tales S4)
-Tuojiangosaurus (Colorata)
-Wuerhosaurus (CollectA)

CityRaptor

Wuerhosaurus is also in the Dinoz line. Got my Kentrosaurus confusing it for Wuerhosaurus due to being blindbagged...Hypacrosaurus is also one of the Dinoz.

Cynognathus and Sphenacodon were both already made by Marx. Cynoganthus also by MPC.

I'm certain I'm not. Plus, the Queensland pterosaur is actually meant to be Ornithocheirus, according to the leaflet, whereas the Giralia pterosaur is just called 'pterosaur'.

Actually this raises an interesting question. Do models based on un-named fossils count as unique? A lot of the Yowie dinosaurs represent fossils that have not received scientific names (e.g. the Dromaeosaur, Stegosaur, Australian Allosaurid), do they count as unique?

Technically yes. But it's hard to look for a particular species figure you want to know is unique without knowing the figure's name because it doesn't have one. For the moment, I prefer to shy away from nameless species, it's complicated enough as it is.
Plus, I'm also not accepting fictional species. So no Vastatosaurus or Ultimasaurus here. This matter also concerns occasions where species names are debunked (like Brontosaurus).
