Never opened a new thread from my mobile, let alone post pics so please excuse any mistakes or misplaced pics.

Got the book for a gift a month ago, the third of Witton's books in my collection and it really is a must have for anyone considering paleoart seriously. It reflects the history of paleoart and its artists, puts a heavy weight to scientific accuracy aided by lots of photos and diagrams and is enlivened with a ton of paleoart by the author himself aswell as a selection of other artists to give a nice overview of different styles. Also, being an acclaimed paleoartist being himself next to being a scientist, Witton considers the artistic and potentially commercial use of paleoart. All of it written in an easily understandable and light language.
Highly recommended.
