Great looking figure, clearly Jurassic Park based, but that's not a bad thing.

suspsy

It's a superbly sculpted piece and whoever did it has remarkable talent. That said, there's no getting around the sad fact that yet another JP-inspired product is just plain boring at this stage. At least that's how I feel.

It's basically the same as their Bull Rex figure right? Just with a vastly superior paint job?

I would need to really check and see if it matches up with the male Rex from TLW.

Except for being twice the size, and much more detailed, and resin...

Hence the question mark.  I haven't seen any description of it compared with the others, only that it looks similar.

Oh goodie, another unlicensed Jurassic Park cash grab.

Mirroraptor

Given that its price has surpassed the Sideshow Dinosaurs, I must mention that their Deinonychus statue has not yet shipped.
In contrast, I would like to see W-Dragon launch high-quality toys under $100 as before, although the new T.rex looks better in skin and head shape than the toy verion.

Wow. I really like that thing. After having watched The Lost World again for the first time in a while, I think it really matches the bull. The colors really look great too. Shame these aren't the official high-end Jurassic models and we're stuck with Chronicle...ugh.

I know saying this is almost as cliche as companies making a JP T. rex at this point, but, could we get a different Jurassic Park dinosaur than the rex, or the raptors, or the Spinosaurus? Like, I don't usually buy these types of figures, but, I would kill for a Lost World Stegosaurus. Maybe someone could make a Dilophosaurus that isn't more textured than the actual animatronic, or a JP3 Pteranodon that isn't $200?

terrorchicken

has any company ever made a figure of the T-rex that got killed by the spinosaurus in JP3? I have this head canon that he was a juvenile/teen.  O:-)

In fact, the Tyrannosaurus in Jurassic Park III uses the same male T. rex prop in The Lost World. You can use TLW's T.rex model to act as JP3's T rex.

Prices are getting crazy!
I bought the new Krentz Tyrannosaurus for $300.00 and have no interest in JP.
So I'm very glad being on the cheaper side :) .

Unfortunately I'm pretty sure that's still a JP replica given that they've put the "Brachiosaurus" in brackets. I'll be pleasantly surprised if it's not, but we need more angles (particularly on the head & feet) to tell.

Loon

That Giraffatitan is very JP, especially with that wrinkly skin. Also, the pose seems to be ripped from this skeletal:

Another teaser, this time for their 1/8 scale "Realistic" Velociraptor:

Blade-of-the-Moon

Looks closer to the Tamiya piece, the bulk for a JP Brachi just isn't there.  Skin texture alone isn't very damning, as just about every sauropod has some sort of wrinkles since people always look to elephants for reference.
