Does anyone here know more about this documentary? Is anyone even involved? To me this sounds highly interesting.

To answer the doc's title question, why the hell not? ;)

The Prehistoric Times did an article or two on this documentary a couple of issues ago; it's a father & son project which grew from a personal endeavor into a full-fledge feature. Naturally, it hit some delays due to events in 2020, so I don't think it's acutally quite finished yet
I had almost forgotten about it, so thanks for the reminder! I'll have to look it up and keep an eye out.

EDIT:
They have their own website at https://www.whydinosaurs.com/! It looks like the film was scheduled for (limited?) release on June 20. They have an Indiegogo page, where it looks like certain-tier backers are/were given a preview of the finished film. I can't tell if they've actually released it yet, though.

I've been wondering about the state of this documentary on and off for the last couple of years. Glad to see it's moving forward! Very much looking forward to it.
