Great Prehistoric Search books

Ok ever since i was a little kid i somehow got this book that is still about dinosaurs like always but this one happens to be a search book where you have to find every dinosaur and every prehistoric creature in the book through sections on all time periods but there is another one that has dinosaurs in them but focuses on non species of dinosaurs more then just the lots of dinosaurs like the other book i used to have but have it again now with all of the pages of the book posted straight on Instagram just not only for entertaining purposes but for interest purposes as well so the one i am going to show off will be the Prehistoric search book for now so.

The page that shows the timeline from the beginning of earth to now with the all the creatures that are appearing in the book with a cut out photograph of a Chimpanzee on it.

The Crowded Seas scene which is in the Cambrian period.

The Forests And Swamps scene that took place during the Carboniferous period.

The Jurassic Giants scene which takes place during the Jurassic period.

The Oceans And The Skies scene that still takes place like around the Jurassic period still but around ancestral ocean.

The Cretaceous Creatures scene that takes place around in the Cretaceous period which it will be the last time period for the dinosaurs.

The After The Dinosaurs scene that takes place in the Eocene period which is the start of the mammals even for us human beings too.

The In South America scene which takes place during the Miocene period.

The African Animals scene that takes place in the Miocene period as well.

The Sticky End scene which takes place during the Pleistocene period which is the Ice Age.

And the Icy Wastes scene which also takes place during the Pleistocene.


And in the end of the book there is a little game where you can tell which creature especially dinosaur that is in the book which it really is and which is not and it also shows the hints that shows the numbers of which individuals of any of the species that has appeared through out the book so it can show where they are.

I had some of these as a kid! Must be the same publisher but different volumes (the great dinosaur search and animal search). I LOVED these books and still have them (in storage somewhere).

Alright so the one search book that i used to have made for prehistoric life was just only dinosaur book which i have finally have as of now because when i was a child i was thinking of getting that prehistoric search book made for the series since i saw a copy of one in a gift shop in a children's hospital back when i was living in my home city but unfortunately i did not get it until now which i did and now have but now for the dinosaur search book.

The Shallow Seas scene which takes place during the Silurian period.

The Living On The Land scene that took place during the Devonian period.

The Giant Insects scene which takes place during the Carboniferous period.

The Rocky Landscapes scene that took place during the Permian period.

The First Dinosaurs scene which takes place during the Triassic period.

The Jurassic Forest scene that took place during the Jurassic period.

The Jurassic Ocean scene which still took place in the Jurassic period but around underwater.

The Dusty Desert scene that took place during the Cretaceous period.

The Last Dinosaurs scene which also took place in the Cretaceous period.

The Woodland Mammals scene that took place during the Eocene period.

In the end is also a game in the end like the other which you have to know which dinosaur and other creature has and has not and which one it is and which one is not and the hints of all the answers of every one of the dinosaurs and creatures that can be looked and found all around this book to know which ones it is and which ones can be found at.

There is also 2 scenes that has appeared in 2 other Great Search books that has something to do with dinosaurs and prehistoric life as yet well like the Back In Time scene as part of the Great Animal Search that takes place in North America during the Cretaceous period which has a Stegosaurus in it which it is out of place despite it lives in North America it existed during the Jurassic period and not the Cretaceous.

And the Prehistoric Seas scene that was part of the Great Undersea Search but with life from the Paleozoic era and the Mesozoic era being out of place all over in this.

That's the volume I have. It gave me endless entertainment and is still a fond thing for me (obviously, since I still have it stored somewhere). Man, this was a fun trip for nostalgia... I might have to find some of the others now!
