...Well that sounds incredibly dumb. Is that actually gonna work? Will these bags showcase T.rex real colors? Is this just marketing weirdos promising the moon when they can't lift a pebble? I will certainly assume that last one is true until proven otherwise.

Weird is right. Next step, 'ethically sound' Belsen products? I find this type of stuff repulsive by definition, a throwback to one-eyebrow times.

Feels to me as unethical as making bags from reptilians like crocs.

Trenchcoated Rebbachisaur

Yeah, figured.
I am really amused by the guy in the comments writing random technobabble-esque nonsense though. I foresee a future writing pulp sci-fi novellas.

Pure marketing strategy IMO too.
Are they more targeting ladies rather than gentlemen with those ethically doubtful products ? lol

stargatedalek

While silly marketing rubbish, they are right that it's ethical. No animals are dying or being harmed to make it. Lab grown leather is a potentially exciting field that could hopefully reduce some degree of reliance on synthetic materials.

It reminds of the people who think rhino horn has medicinal properties when it's just the same stuff as our fingernails.

If there was the choice, I'd have chosen a down jacket made of protofeathers !
At least, it would keep you warm ::D
