Basically provides scientific confirmation of what has been the most logical explanation - as we saw with the dinosaurs, entire species don't vanish overnight from "climate change."  A radical extinction needs a radical cause.

Man hunted the megafauna to extinction in every continent except for Africa and sub-tropical India where the megafauna partially survived (elephants, rhinos, big cats, hippos, etc.)

What is interesting is that the megafauna was primarily slaughtered in colder climates, where the meat would have been at a premium much of the year, when other forms of food weren't available as they are year-round in the tropics .....

...just speculating... perhaps someone can test similar lakebed layers in N. America, Europe and Siberia to see of they can identify a similar trend ...
