I've seen some interest around this forum to see what the Battat Mini T-Rex looks like. Unfortunately, it won't let me post the picture in this thread, so I've copied the Ebay link for the item. Not posting this to encourage anyone to buy it, I just know some people are curious to see what it looks like so I thought this would be helpful.

Really, that's just rude, and your P+H is a slap in the face to honest sellers.  Go peddle your overpriced crap elsewhere.  Good riddance.

Not sure what your problem is but ok. Didn't realize it was such a bad thing to post a picture this forum

Radman is right, you've started two threads now advertising your stuff as well as resurrected a thread started by someone else. You didn't join this place in the interest of fellowship and connections within a hobby, you joined in hopes of ripping someone off. You're asking for $55  in shipping for a three inch toy? And then you play dumb when called out on your tactics? Give me a break.

I checked this guy's feedback, and noticed that 99% of the people who gave him/her positives are no longer active users. The one person who was, had only 37 feedbacks...

Just be careful. And sorry for sounding mean for posting this, but $300+ is a lot of money to some people. He could be perfectly legit, but people always say to beware of feedback scores...

Being ripped off sucks, and I hope that no-one on the forum has to go through it. Nothing personal against the seller, but something seems a bit fishy.

I hadn't used by Ebay account in years, but I have a relative that works at Battat and was able to get her hands on a few of these dinosaurs that were left in the warehouse for over a decade. Since neither of us are big dinosaur collectors, we figured we would sell them. I realize the price is steep, but this seems to be the going rate as we've sold a couple already.

As for the shipping costs, the price is so expensive because we ship it express so it arrives in 2-3 days, and you get a tracking number and you're required to sign upon delivery to ensure there are no problems. Since most buyers are from the US or overseas, we have to pay international rates given that we are based in Canada.

As for being called out on my tactics, yes I advertised the dinosaurs through this site to help my listing get exposure. Not sure what the problem with that is, it's a smart business move and it could equally benefit a potential buyer who is interested. However, my last post was solely to show a picture of the Mini T-Rex as I had read a thread on this forum where people were simply asking to see what it looks like.

Nonetheless, I have deleted my previous posts as I realize it has caused nothing but anger to members of this forum. My apologies for doing so, it was never my intention. Take care

Okay, I was just being careful. If you're legit then it's all good. There are scammers out there, I've experienced them myself.
