Hello.

I'll also mention the first topic in its own post so my former Kaiyodo contacts here might see it and be able to benefit as well if I'm successful.   But I am searching for a new direct sales contact for Japanese figures to avoid the collective insanity that is eBay Kaiyodo dealers.

During the process, I made a very nice contact who spent a good amount of her time detailing for me situations re: production and marketing that help explain a lot about the availability of these figures.  Though she is in Asia and has a huge collection, she is in need of this one figure.  I don't even have one of my own to give her, but do want to say thank you for her assistance.

If anyone has one, especially someone who used to buy Dinotales, etc., from me and knows how I operate(d), I'd appreciate hearing.  For those of you who fit that group--in case you don't make it to the other post--please contact me anyway if there are Japanese figures you want so I can try to get enough business for a new contact (am already in discussion with one) to justify his participation.

For those of you who collect animals and who haven't noticed, aside from a few new dinos, Kaiyodo has begun reintroducing figures in new aquarium sets and Capsule Q sets, as well as what looks like a large size line with the old name Aquatales.  The quality of a few of the figures in the earlier aquarium sets was shockingly poor, but that seems to have been isolated and temporary.

Thanks.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately I don't have the Dinotales Ceratosaurus (have been searching for that one myself). But a new source for Kaiyodo and Dinotales figures for those of us in the US would be very very welcome, considering the exorbitant prices some of them go for on eBay. I'm sure there would be plenty of interest on here.
