Hi guys,

I have several threads that I "subscribe" to, so that I get an email notification when there are new posts there. Sometimes the emails reach my inbox, but lately, I have been finding them in my spam folder. Does anyone else have this problem? I am using gmail btw.

My notifcations seems to work perfectly for the threads I monitor, and nothing gets spammed. You might check the security level of your gmail account setting.

If you find a message in your spam folder, click the "this is not spam" option (or equivalent) and it shouldn't happen again.

It happens because the email service recognises the emails as autosent.

Yeah, I've done that a few times. I think I will just need to set up a custom filter in gmail to have any email from the DTF go into a specific folder or something.

Weird, I use gmail too and haven't had a problem. Hopefully the filter resolves it for you :)

This week is the first time I've had any go to the spam folder--and it was a lot of them. I missed quite a few the one day!

Yeah, I've never had it happen before until recently. Maybe google changed something?

What address are they being sent from? Had it changed?

It doesn't look like the address changed.

Yeah, that's the usual address. I'm thinking of changing it to [email protected] though, just to separate personal from private.

Well I created a filter and a label, so now any emails coming from [email protected] will automatically go into that label. I also made sure to select the never send to spam option within the filter. So far, I've had good luck :)

If you do end of changing the forum address, please let me know so that I can update my filter.

Thanks for the help!
