They seems to be popular in Japan, little figures that comes free with some soda drinks. I acquired these guys not too long ago, so I figured just lump them all together in one thread about soda/drink figures. For the most part, these are all very small figures.

First up is is this set of Retro-Classic dinosaur Bottle cap figures. I'm assuming they are Kaiyodo (?)
There are 6 figures that comes in two versions ( of course!)- Type A and Type B.
I am missing the two sauropod, an apatosaurus and Brachiosaurus.
I got the type B version, more colorful one.

Next up is another, an even smaller sized, free figures that comes attached to a soda bottle (?), there is a picture of the bottle in the front and it looks like Pepsi ;D These figures are made by SEGA, about the only thing I can read from the package!  ;D
This is a much larger set with a total of 12 figures, I got 7. Unfortunately, what I am missing are the really cool species like the Amarga, Pachyrhino, and Acro.

Last set is a trio of figures from the WWD 3D movie tie-in. These figures were intended to be used as drink toppers for drinks purchased at the theater.
As far as I know, these are the only 3 figures that came as bottle caps. Figures released by Golden Link an d they are similar to the other WWD 3D figure except they are slightly larger in size.

there you go, enjoy. Feel free to add your collections! ;)

What gets me is that they're just little toys on top of soda bottles and they're still so well made. Why can't we have stuff like this in the western countries? I don't care what brand puts them on there or how the soda tastes, I would buy it for those little figures.

Megalosaurus

This is an striking idea!!!
I don't drink any kind of soda (is unhealtly), well just one when I'm with my friends and they do. But if Coca-Cola or Pepsi dare to offer this promotion, I wold drink soda until my stomach explodex.

Sobreviviendo a la extinción!!!

So much retro-goodness!
Although I think that the Version A is more accurate for that look, I really like the Version B colors.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

I always love seeing these retro bottlecap figures--am I the only one who would love to see a series of 1/40 retro figures? I'd go crazy for a set of Crystal Palace toys haha

Not only you. Although it is unlikely to see them in 1/40, they could maybe release them in toob form.

I actually never thought of that idea before--a Safari toob of retro dinosaurs would be amazing.
