As if we needed more reasons to think Dinosaurs are neat.

Article

SpittersForEver

Amazing, I never ever knew that!!!!  :o

Balaur

I thought that was already well known. Not that surprising.

Talk about tough!
Although that sentence makes no sense:
"One might speculate these differences are due in part to how birds typically possess hollow bones to lighten them for flight."
Dinosaur bones were also hollow.

Also, anyone got info on the supposed "poor" healing of birds?
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Yeah, horrible article. Also, I know that the hollow bones of birds are very tough, but the healing part I'm not sure.

Edit: Actually, I found this.

Thanks.
So basically "poor" = mostly like in mammals. ( probably faster compared to mammals )
But then again, given that the article also claims that hollow = weak, this is not too surprising.

I couldn't follow the article very well...could have been edited better.
