Anyone know if this is on blu ray? Would like to get it on blu ray too. :)
Walking With Monsers:
[about Lystrosaurus] Astonishingly, their vast herds make up more than half of all life on Earth. Never again will a single species do so well.

Walking With Monsters: (Hynerpeton) To avoid injury the males demonstrate their strength  in a strange  push up contest.

this is unlikely to happen.

As far as I'm aware, none of the Walking With series were presented in HD, so a blu-ray release would offer nothing you don't already get with dvd.  It was extremely expensive to do CG animation back then, so I doubt they sprung for the added expense of rendering the graphics in HD, considering BBC didn't begin broadcasting HD until 2006.

It's a different situation with some of the old David Attenborough shows, which were never broadcast in HD originally, but since they were shot and edited on film, it's possible to rescan the original negative in HD.  For the Walking With series, the original negatives were just empty backgrounds later filled in with SD rendered animated dinosaurs.

I think it was released on blue ray following release of the new movie, but not in HD or anything, just needlessly converted
or it may have only been the original series that was converted
