how does one silence/block unwanted/disliked/annoying/useless forum members again? thanks in advance. :)
First you click on the  "profile" tab at the top of the screen, and then choose "forum profile".

Then go to "modify profile" and choose "buddies/ignore list" and then "edit ignore list"

You just need to add the username of the person whose posts you don't want to see.
