For you is it better the Collecta's Dacentrurus or the Battat (Terra) one?
Especially looking at the scientific accuracy.

Collecta:

Battat:

Thanks.

Neither has any glaring inaccuracies I can think of, though to be fair I don't really know stegosaurs all that well. Personally I prefer the Battat one.

SpittersForEver

I prefer the CollectA one since it has a more interesting pose.

I prefer the Battat Dacentrurus.  It's one of my favourite figures!  Its colour scheme is my favourite out of all the dinosaur figures that currently exist, and I really like its pose, which can work both as a defensive pose, or a calmer one.  It really inspires the imagination.  The detail is very good, and I really like how sharp the spikes look.  Many dinosaur figures have their teeth, spikes, claws, etc. made far too blunt unnecessarily.  The spikes on the Battat Dacentrurus look right and yet are quite safe because they're not of a very hard material and aren't too sharp.   The CollectA Dacentrurus looks like one of their better figures.  However, the spikes look too blunt, especially on its tail.  I don't like rearing poses on dinosaur figures, partly because they limit the imagination.  On the topic of rearing, if stegosaurs could rear up, wouldn't they need to have their tail on the ground if they were doing it to the extent the CollectA Dacentrurus is?  The CollectA Dacentrurus' pose seems implausible.

Megalosaurus

Battat: I like the sculpture & colouration.
CollectA: I like the pose. In fact you can put it rearing, or in the ground, both looks great.
To me the winner is: CollectA.

I like the Battat( otherwise I wouldn't have bought it ;) ) but the CollectA is larger and in an interesting pose. Both are nicely detailed.  Colors are fine on both, if I didn't like them and had time I could repaint so not a deal breaker either way..but size and pose matter a lot to me so I'll side with CollectA here.

Also, be aware that CollectA's plastic is softer than Battat's. It is most evident in the spikes. They are quite flexible.
Still I adhere to CollectA in this one.

If I had to choose, I would go with the Collecta one. They are  both well done and researched figures, the only reason I choose the CollectA one is that it's a more imaginative pose and size.

I wonder if the front legs are correct for both figue because they look differents.

I am going with the Battat, just because I think it is more aesthetically pleasing.

Battat by a long shot. I wanna see Dan do more thyreaphorans - the Gastonia looks great, too. Collecta's deluxe versions are always too fat, except, weirdly the ankylosaurus.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.
