I showed this clip to some friends, and the argument was the same, Darth Vader would easily defeat Batman. However, technically, it was Superman who defeated Vader; Batman merely provided a distraction. Of course, you could argue why didn't Vader just force choke Batman from the beginning. I think it has to do with Vader's overconfidence, as mentioned above, providing Batman an opportunity to use it against him. "The Force will sustain me." "Exactly! Better focused on you than me!"
