Here was my other museum trip...  This one is located in central Michigan, East Lansing.  Not to be confused with my other museum visit in Ann Arbor.  This is the home of the Spartans.   ;)

Both Michigan museums I visited this past summer are free to enter.  However, be forewarned they are not air conditioned so pick a cool day to visit.   ;)

Wonderful photos - looks like a very interesting museum, thanks for sharing (I like the Allosaurus and Stegosaur mount).

Thank you.  The museum is small but it is still cool.   It was a fun trip and admission was free.  I went here and the University of Michigan museum on the same day since they are both small and only an hour away from each other.

This sounds like a good idea and you could quite easily do that here in the UK. E.g, next time I'm down there I could visit the Dorset County Museum in Dorchester (nice Megalosaur tracks and fossils) and then go down to Lyme Regis Philpott Museum and fossil shops. Could then go "fossiling" on the beach before having a well earned pint  8)
