Darn! Not only do I have to save up for papo Kaprosuchus, but a DILOPHOSAURUS REX? A combination of two of my favourite dinosaurs? Oh man, that's something I'd love even if it was terrible! I wonder what it will look like? Probably just a T. rex with a frill and crests but even that would be cool.
If anyone's wondering, by the way, my other favourite dinosaurs are Yi Qi, Sinornithosaurus, Velociraptor, Masaikasaurus, Ankylosaurus and Epanterias.

I've actually seen a Dilo/Rex combo figure at Walmart already as part of their brand of cheapo toys. It's a larger figure around 9" tall.

Actually I think RolandEden is refering to the pic I posted. Which is indeed the Level 40 I.Rex from the game. But it is on the cover of a new JW book, too.

Ah, clarity.

Still looks like a Dilo-Rex to me heh heh but then Chap Mei has given us more ( better?) "Jurassic Park" toys than Hasbro.. lol

I've seen some fantastic fan art of the Dilo-Rex and now reading what everyone has said I may have to pick this one up. Hasbro please don't let us down with this one.

Not all that impressed really..it was a poor figure before..i guess it's a tiny improvement. looks more like the jr line figure now.

Kind of a minimalist approach (although let's recall that the original 2 "Chaos" TRexes were just radical repaints of the JP 2 big TRexes), but to me it looks 100% better than the original, plain brown TRex toy ... the plates/spines are subdued enough to not look totally ridiculous, they give it a bit of an "edgy" look ...
