Went to your web page, nice site. ^-^ Like the galleries in particular. In 1998 brood IV (17yr) and brood XIX (13yr) overlapped here in Missouri although I'm not sure if brood IV got here to central Missouri. I do remember that it was especially loud that year! Then in May-June 2011 brood XIX emerged here.

I would have loved to seen the overlapping Broods!  I'm sure their combined might was incredible!   Too bad it only happens once every 221 years!  Yikes!  I don't think anyone of us will be around for the next visit!

Glad you enjoyed the site!  Brood V is happening here in Ohio in just a couple more months!  I want to obtain more images and new sound files too!

Still awaiting the arrival of Brood V in northern Ohio.  Colder weather has delayed the emergence which is disappointing.  :(

In the meantime, I've added approximately 40 sound files to my website and will be adding more in the near future too.  Enjoy the serenade.   ;)
