Yeah that's a bit rich for my blood. I managed to acquire all the other Battats for a low cost, and hope to continue doing so.

Looks like the re-releases will be pretty affordable. Even if you bought two sets and repainted one of each like you said it'd still work out cheaper than seeking the originals...

I recently took advantage of the very favourable GBP to USD exchange rate and commissioned some models from Martin Garratt. Will post pictures when they're done and arrived. Now that I think of it this thread is long overdue for some photos. I've given up on trying to fit everything and have accepted that I'm hoarding models for when I move out on my own.
