GODZILLA---FANGORIA magazine posted a video of John Carpenter watching a movie with what sounds like Godzilla roaring. The video tags film distributors Shout Factory, Scream Factory and streamer TokuSHOUTsu which led to fan speculation that Carpenter may be involved in future releases of the original Toho Godzilla movies. This might include Carpenter providing commentary on the original movies, hosting a Godzilla movie marathon or a future release of his short film GORGO VERSUS GODZILLA which he filmed when he was a film student at USC. Other fans suggested Carpenter may direct a future Godzilla movie.

It seems unlikely, but if he does I hope he'd been doing the music too.

His most recent movies haven't been great but his music is still top tier.

That marathon sounds fun but I wouldn't be able to access it. Big John Carpenter and Godzilla fan though, sounds fun.

Godzilla versus The Thing would be worth a watch!
