Needless to say, Double Yang is a fan of Sauropods who also made this mavelous scene:

BlueKrono

Reminds me of the rearing Kaiyodo large Amarga, though a more updated reconstruction.
We are accustomed to look upon the shackled form of a conquered monster, but there - there you could look at a thing monstrous and free." - King Kong, 2005

i absolutly love that coloration on the resin model. a very beautiful sculpt indeed.

Jose S.M.

Those are gorgeous! I love the water on the Amargas's base and the laying one is beautiful.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Very well done, almost exactly the pose i'm creating for our life size juvenile Amargasaurus.

The tempted feeling persisted and I placed my order.

Good choice  ^-^
Hope Martin makes another fantastic job on it!

I wish Papo's looked something like this, we need more of such unconventional poses for sauropod figures.

BrontoScorpio

This reminds me too much the Kaiyodo DINOLAND Amargasaurus.

You are right, BrontoScorpio. We all know that.
The Kaiyodo one is best of the best and I so much like it.
But it's also one of the rarest.
Now you can have Dinone studio's Amargasaurus as an alternative.
I think it's a good thing.

Besides, there aren't many poses a sauropod can do.
Dinone studio has done a lying one.
Now they do a rearing one.
If they do a walking one it would be tedious.
So I am fine with it.  :)

I didn't even know the Kaiyodo one existed until I saw the newly resurrected thread yesterday. I am never going to track one of those down, and as acro-man says, there are only so many active poses possible for sauropods. So I don't regret going for the Dinone Studio version.

Huh? Except for the fact that both models represent a rearing sauropod, I can see no similarities at all.  ???

I wish I had space for this kit.
It is absolutely wonderful.
