Greetings to one and all here. I thought I should introduce myself as I've recently joined the forum. I'm glad I don't seem to be alone in the 'mature' member category, (I'm 44 ;D). I'm a keen modeller and have a large collection of ships and aircraft.

However, all things natural history, evolution and science have interested me for many a year, and I started out collecting Kaiyodo Dinotales figures last year, as their appearance and quality impressed me, (compared to the dino models I recall from my youth) and consequently I quite rapidly built up a fair sized assortment of them. Since then I got hold of most of the Starlux prehistoric mammals, as well as a couple of the Safari prehistoric Toobs, and last month I bought several larger AAA, CollectA, Bullyland and Safari figures. It's giving me immense pleasure to collect these figures, and learn all about them, especially the more obscure/unusual ones, such as the pre-dinosaur and post-dinosaur creatures.

Anyway, I look forward to being a member here! Thanks for reading-Joe

Welcome Joe  :)

The dinotales figures are fine indeed, and really rather addictive  >:D

Hi Anchry6 :) I shall endeavour to get some pics sorted asap, (if I can breathe life into my rather dilapidated digital camera...) I have ambitions to expand the collection further, space and finances permitting, (my family need to eat, etc ;) ). I have already done ok, quite quickly, but there are some really seemingly rare items I'd really love to get my hands on, such as some of the Yujin Miracle Planet series and Prehistoric Panorama. But I've plenty to keep me satisfied anyhow :)

Bye for now
