1/20 Megalosaurus by Shenshen

I just discovered this new resin kit (which will be available as resin kit or full painted) of a 1/20th Megalosaurus. It is sculpted by a Chinese artist, Shenshen. Of course I already pre-ordered it. What convinced me to preorder it was the beautiful and uncommon color scheme:

Nice. I like it but I am always hesitant on that particular dinosaur as only a jaw fragment had been found of it. Not an accuracy police  but it's one of those that we can barely tell what it must've looked like. Nonetheless it's a beautiful sculpt.

we actually have a decent amount of remains associated with megalosaurus.


anyway, honestly not too big of a fan of this piece. while the pose and paintwork are superb, the proportions are just, offputting imo.
