Dinosaur Invasion at South Florida Science Center and Aquarium

during the week before christmas i decided to head to west Palm Beach for the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium for the Dinosaur Invasion exhibit it has a lot of animatronic dinosaurs but only a few fossils it also has sperm whale bones and a skeleton of an Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin in ti





by the entrance is a sculpture of a Coelophysis made by Yure De Alencar

Africa home to Spinosaurus




Antarctica AKA the South Pole home to Cryolophosaurus and Kritosaurus but there's no Kritosaurus fossils discovered in the Antarctica





Asia home to Microraptor, Protoceratops and Therizinosaurus







you can notice the Therizinosaurus claws are a little floppy

an information board where it you can see a Velociraptor Skull which it's foot that's supposed to be there is missing



Australia or Down Under home to Leallynasaura and Minmi



Europe or the European Islands home to Archaeopteryx and Europasaurus





another information board which it has an Iguanodon thumb spike is also missing


North America home to Dakotaraptor which has it's leg bone owned from Robert DePalma who owns the Palm Beach Museum Of Natural History, Parasaurolophus, Oryctodromeus, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Deinosuchus, Didelphodon and Pteranodon






















and last of all South America home to Herrerasaurus and Carnotaurus

in the exhibition is a dig pit where young guests can unearth a Tyrannosaurus Rex fossil

another dig pit outside of the exhibition which is in the Fisher Family Science Trail has a fossil of an Ichthyosaurus, a trilobite and an ammonite shell





yet another dig pit where young guests can unearth teeth of Bull Sharks, Sand Tiger Sharks, Tiger Sharks, Lemon Sharks and Shortfin Mako Sharks and take it with them


the outside exhibit has a dinosaur walk which has a Tyrannosaurus Rex, a Utahraptor, a Stegosaurus, a juvenile Triceratops, a Brachiosaurus and a Spinosaurus









and the gem panning station where young guests can pan out gemstones from all over the world so they could take it with them




on the way to the exhibition is a lower jaw and a vertabra of a Sperm Whale washed and beached in the Palm Beaches in 1979


and a skeleton of an Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin

some dinosaur costumes that can be worn on young guests for kids area of the building


a still from Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure that can be shown in the Planetarium


some shells, some fossils including coral fossils, some geodes, a leaf fossil and a damaged Whitetail Deer skull i found in the auditorium


a chipmunk voiced talking iphone robot where young guests can use him to look up stuff on it which is not working for now

and the Nancy Myers Gift Shop which sadly doesn't have any safari, schleich nor recur figures but also has plush dinosaurs and a licensed book for Jurassic World
