Halichoeres

Meet Pseudotherium argentinus, a cynodont from the Ischigualasto formation in Argentina, home of Herrerasaurus, Eoraptor, and a variety of temnospondyls, synapsids, stem-crocodiles, and other Triassic creatures. This is the nearest relative of mammals yet found in the formation. The holotype is a nicely preserved, but isolated, skull:
