GR Toys/Musee Studios - New For 2020

I had exactly the same thought and wasn't sure if it was a digital image rather than finished model.

The paint scheme, especially the more colourful version, is very similar in feel to that used by the Studio on their resins, e.g. the Pteranodon coming out next year.

Not to rain on parades but are we sure that's a finished product and not a digital mockup?  Those paint apps looks to be at least a 100.00 job on a smaller scale figure.  I can't see them selling that for less that 2-300.00

I have a suspicious feeling they might pull a PNSO on us and just give us a decent-at-best paint scheme in the final product, prototypes are prototypes after all. I'd still be happy with that outcome though, especially in lieu of the comment by avatar_Blade-of-the-Moon @Blade-of-the-Moon At this stage, though, these things are just *chef's kiss* magnifique.
I agree with this assumption. This prototype feels "too good to be true." I have a feeling once this figure is mass produced, there could be quality control issues, as well as prototype vs. final product in terms of paint applications. However, if not, then I expect this figure to be high in the price category ($100+).

Honestly, I love this figure and I hope the prototype is just the same as the final product. It looks amazing and I hope I can afford it. :-\

Finally, we have a 1/35 Carcharodontosaurus figure.
Looks really impressive.
If I recall, the GR Spino's paint did not deviate too much from the prototype to the actual production figure.
Hopefully, this will be the case for Carchy.
Doesn't seem that it will have an articulated jaw.
I chuckled a little.. seems that it's expected for Theropod figures to have articulated jaws these days.
At least in those in the mid market range.

I will say at least one of those photos looks to be an actual model. I'm sure we're far from looking at the final product however, and I don't have a doubt in my mind that the final price is going to sting. For what it is, I think the spinosaurus was a bit overpriced, and I can only imagine how much more the carchar would be if it's looking that good when all is said and done. That being said, it might be worth it if the quality is largely maintained.  ;)

Bokisaurus

Nice, very impressive figure! It would be a great companion to the spinosaurus for sure.

Some close-up images of the head sculpt and jaw. I am hoping the final product looks exactly like these pre-production figures... I love the colors!

I definitely prefer the color scheme of the figure on the right, due to less bright colors and more earth tone colors. However, they both look lovely!

Carnoking

I believe I read a comment on Paleofigura's post that the upcoming mass produced paint job will be revealed :-\
Hopefully it maintains a lot of what we're seeing here cuz dang is it ever gorgeous.

Shonisaurus

By the way, is it confirmed that the two carcharodontosaurus will be without articulated items? I would celebrate they weren't with articulated jaws, that would be good news for me and all the more reason to praise the outstanding toy dinosaur brand GR Toys.

These colors are simply too complex to be used in a mass-production step..

Wallnut

Color skin isn't my favor but the sculpt is just phenomenal well if they took insipiration from planet dinosaur but the brown one looks very good.

Thanks! However, that is actually an old image, look at page 2 of this thread. I even posted it lol.

Although, this reminds me, when are we supposed to see the finished model?

Oh poop, must've missed it. As of now, no further news that I'm aware of unfortunately.

The Carcharodontosaurus stuff should go in a new thread as it's not a 2020 figure.  This is the wrong thread for it. C:-)

I am in love with the GR Toys spino but I am worried about where I should buy it from. Dans Dinosaurs has it for an extremely high price (which is not really worth it for the figure you get). The figure is not available on Amazon and BBTS. The only option left is Ali Express, and I am a little concerned. This is my first time ordering off "My Online Toy Store" and I am not sure what to expect or if it is any good. Has anyone ordered off their before and can clear things up for me?

Edit: The spino variant I want is out of stock. Does MOTS restock their figures? If not, I suppose I will have to order off Dan's Dinosaurs.

My Online Toy Store is very good-the best store on Aliexpress I ever dealt with. I order PNSO and mainline Transformers figures without original boxes from them and they always arrive perfectly packaged by the seller. They're very fast too-I usually get my stuff from them in less than three weeks (in Europe).

Model Toy Centre on Aliexpress have this in stock. I've ordered 5 figures from them so far (with another 2 on the way), and they've all arrived in around 11-12 days (to the  UK).
