Last weekend I went with my son to the Dahner Felsenland, a small, but remarkable landscape just one and a half hours from my home. I had some figures with me, guessing the sandstone structures there would date back to the Permian. Well, it was "close", they are Early Triassic, but nevertheless the stone make a great backdrop. No undisturbed far views there really, after all we are still in densely populated Germany. Hope you enjoy anyway, we did :)

Teufelstisch, Devil`s Table, the most popular of the formations there.

Satansbrocken, Satan`s Rock.

Close up of the sediment structures.

Ruin Lizards Podarcis muralis are very numerous there in the sunlit places.

Now for the figures..... Bullyland Paratyphothorax

Bullyland Procynosuchus

CollectA Edaphosaurus

Safari Dimetrodon vs CollectA Edaphosaurus

Safari Inostrancevia vs Schleich Dinogorgon

Safari Scutosaurus

Hey, that was a lot of fun. And Triassic rock too - thanks for the exhibit.

Bokisaurus

What an interesting place and concept of photographing those figures in situ!😃

Shonisaurus

My congratulations on the photographs. Honestly every time I see the figures of Bullyland I regret that that company has practically disappeared from the commercial landscape. He made very well done figures.

Gothmog the Baryonyx

Very atmospheric, nice choice of figures too and excellent spot, hope you had a great day too, even if not, at least you have those lovely photos
