Are these early review copies?  I ordered direct from Star Ace with EMS shipping and their website still says its a preorder?

Yeah, he keeps using words like "upcoming" and "next release" referring to the Ceratosaurus, and the Trike is the vinyl version, which has been released.

I am seeing a few in-hand images from Asia for the Ceratosaurus on the Dinosaur Model Collectors Group on FB. It's not uncommon for Chinese, Thai and Malaysian collectors to get their hands on X-Plus/Star Ace much earlier than even the Japanese.

Those are some good connections.  Would like to see how it works with Prime1.. lol   That's interesting too, these are made in India right?

Not sure. If you flip an X-Plus/Star Ace over, usually on the bottom of a foot, you'll see the country of manufacture. Both my Trike and my Allosaurus were made in Blangledesh, my Gigantic '54 Godzilla was made in China, etc. They've got production spread all over Asia. My theory is that the earliest examples we see in hand are probably pieces finding their way out into the wild straight from production.

Wow.. So Sideshow got it first before Star Ace even?  Shame I had to pay in full to Star Ace to preorder...

Looks wonderful. I'm not familiar with this brand but if they manage to get the mass-produced version to look like this, I'm impressed.

BBTS has opened pre-orders for the Concavenator in the Wonder Wild series of Polyresin statues, sculpted by Sean Cooper. $239.99 for a Q1/22 release.

I have the original one Martin painted of that piece, it was used on the cover of PT.

What a dramatic Concavenator! It's the type of interpretation of which Papo is/was capable, before they lost sight of the possible and the beauty of being grounded in the bounds of possibility and produced their absurd Giganotosaurus. What flair and imagination Cooper has shown!
