After Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, a new animated Jurassic World series is in the works and is set to release in 2024; named Jurassic World: Explorers. An official announcement is to be made in June of this year.

After seeing how great Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous turned out, I am curious to see how this one turns out. Hopefully, it will appeal to viewers of all ages like Camp Cretaceous. But honestly, I do not have high hopes; judging by the toys and the logo alone, one may tell this is a series/ cartoon intended for kids. I also think that this franchise has been milked enough to the last drop and that this franchise should rest peacefully. But seeing the appeal of and success of this cash-cow of a franchise with fans of all ages around the world, it will still be kept alive in one way or another. On the other hand, I think it's good to have something to please fans of all ages of this franchise and this shows the success of this franchise. Also, back in the 90's, I think there would be a Jurassic Park animated series but was canceled. I think it's good we have this opportunity here. What are your opinions?

Blade-of-the-Moon

avatar_Prehistory Resurrection @Prehistory Resurrection For future reference, I recommend avoiding Swrve. To quote Blade-of-the-Moon, "I stopped listening to Swrve's videos awhile back. He makes up things just to make a video and get views. His information is more personal theory than anything. " I realized that independently when I watched Swrve's CC S4 review in which he makes matter-of-fact statements about what does(n't) fit/make sense for the overarching story based on nothing but personal (dis)likes ( https://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=7736.msg306365#msg306365 ).

At this point, the only new JP/JW stories I'd care to see are 1) a CC sequel series that takes place post-FK, & 2) more faithful adaptations of Crichton's Jurassic Park & Lost World novels. In reference to the latter: 1) They'd be better as a series like Westworld on HBO; 2) They'd be better if the dinos were mostly accurate for today's time (
), similar to how the novels' dinos were mostly accurate for their time ( https://jurassicpark.fandom.com/wiki/Isla_Sorna_(novel_canon) ); 3) They'd be better if the original Lex character was cut altogether; At best, she adds nothing; At worst, she ruins the experience ( https://babbletrish.blogspot.com/2013/08/so-reading-jurassic-park-in-2013-is.html ); In other words, cutting her would greatly improve the experience without changing anything important (I.e. Major plot points or dino/character interactions).
