It doesn't even look like a saltie. It's just another old basic crocodile. I would argue that it's the worst crocodile figure ever made by a big name company. It's the equivalent of papos concavenator.

(sorry about the rant)😬
The colouration of the Papo saltwater crocodile isn't great, but you're wrong about the rest.  It has the neck scale arrangement of the saltwater crocodile that Safari's saltwater crocodile lacks, for example.  I haven't noticed wonky proportions on it, but I think it's relevant to remember it's only been shown from some pre-release angles and people thought the PNSO Acrocanthosaurus had off proportions when it turned out not to.  To claim it's equivalent to the Papo Concavenator shows you're exaggerating.

Oh, poor Papo Nile Crocodile. From an artistic point of view I must disagree.
It was ahead of its time when it was released. I'm not sure, maybe 13 or 14 years ago.
Of course there are more extraordinary figures since we have access to the Japanese market.

They were talking about the upcoming Papo saltwater crocodile, not the Papo Nile crocodile.  The Papo saltwater crocodile looks phenomenal if you ask me and it's being eagerly anticipated by a number of people.

I still use it in my dios as a random crocodilian species.

I'm in desperate need for a good salt water crocodile. But safari's is too big, and I don't like the papo one at all. The nanmu one is probably going to be expensive as hell, although I can't acquire any of these. cause you know, iran.
I'll probably have to wait for a collecta one

I'm really hoping Nanmu do a model of the Distortus Rex...

Also, does anyone have the little figures of Roland Tembo & Sarah Harding? I'll gladly pay over the odds for them!
