Fenestra

That looks fabulous. It must have been a lot of fun making it. Personally I wouldn't add a background since you already have trees and such. The white wall makes every animal stand out.

MLMjp

Absolutely fantastic! I wish I could have a display like this.

PrimevalRaptor

This is a really really great display, I think my favorite bits are the water cross-section (always love to see those) and the way you incorporated the lying down T.rex, very clever :D

Thank you all very much.
If someone of you want to make a diorama with (a bit) water.
I recommend UV-resin (Clear Nail Resin).
I allready made large dioramas with over 15L resin (A+B Resin).
But Nail resin is much better.
The layers really melt seamlessly together!
If you wait a bit too long with A+B Resin you see the seamline.
With Nail UV Resin there is zero seamline.
I allready had a project where i didn t have enough resin so I could finish the small lake 3 days later, but even then the new layer attached seamles to the older ones.

Splendid, even magnificent. I keep wanting to see the diorama extend onwards and onwards. This is truly an inspiration and I actually mean that in the older and better sense of the word. An epic production, avatar_Die_Maulquappe @Die_Maulquappe . When my eyes first started the journey around the sweep of the scene, I equivocated as to whether or not it would be advisable to have a background landscape or no. There are points in favor of either approach and doubtlessly you have and are weighing them.

Hopefully one day, figure makers will provide us with more flora items.

The flora and base is a mixture of the Rebor bases, many cheap aquarium decoration & cheap toy trees and epoxy clay...then modified and painted.
Combined it has it´s costs but for the size and effect it was not expensive.

thx

Thank you,
yes Andrea (lying Rex with odd leg posture) was recyled well^^.
I often see figures and think, if I change the pose a bit by turning it around and combine it with this other figure... i get dynamic poses like in large expensive statues.

Wow this is amazing! Where'd you get those trees? Are they time appropriate?

Spectacular display.  Must be impressive to see in real life...13 feet long....wow!  I don't envy the task of trying to keep the dust off it, however.  :)

Hi thank you,
I just combined two (relatively cheap) things.
I bought no-name trees from amazon, cut the root part of (they are overall too small only 24cm)...
and I bought very cheap aquarium treetrunks from Temu and combined them.
The large tree are two treetrunks glued togester plus some old collectA branches.
Most of the rocks are cheap aquarium rocks, cut, painted, glued and combined.
All together has it´s cost but overall the single parts are very cheap.

Cheap quarium deco plus paint and a bit epoxy clay and that´s it.:D

Thx, I clean it with a blower, everything is fixed so this works well.
And the i have an airfilter running sometimes.

For your next project you should do one that's under the Mesozoic sea, from ocean floor to the surface.  :)

Federreptil

It looks like an ideal museum with a diorama setting for the exhibits. That's because the collection of inhabitants is a wild mix of all-time favorites. Or a visit to a Jurassic Park setting. A 2D background as a landscape for the wall would certainly be a great addition to the effect. If you were to go wild in the diorama scene for military model builders in 1/35 scale, there would also be more expensive alternatives for the plants. But here, it's fascinating to see what can be done on a smaller budget.

A blower? Would you mind elaborating please? I spend so much time dusting so any shortcut would be appreciated.
