I have started a new blog. I know that I'm new around here and that this topic may be in the wrong section. If so I a terribly sorry and would like to be alerted as to where it is this topic should go.

Each week we'll take a journey to learn about one new dinosaur and how it may have lived. I will have a poll for you readers to choose which dinosaur you want to see next week. The new week of dinosaur information will start on a monday and end on a sunday.

There will be one post a day that refers to an aspect of each animal, each week. So I hope you people reading (however few there may be) are able to vote on a new dinosaur each week. Later on, I may also have a poll for which dinosaurs to go into a poll. Which is a bit redundant I will admit, but it may help people to see their favorite dinosaur recognized!

If this is actual advertising and is frowned upon here again, I'm terribly sorry. I would like to note that collaboration with other members of this forum would be most welcome and appreciated as I'm not 100% familiar with some of the newest theories and specimens of certain species.

I know that this blog may not get a lot of visitors and I hope that eventually will. Maybe someday it will appear on the paleo blogosphere that the popular blog Love in the Time of Chasmosaurs list's on the right side of their page. If anyone is interested in helping me that would be great.

Good day!

This week's dinosaur is Nasutoceratops. Considering that there isn't much information (at least that I could find), perhaps members of this forum could help me with more information and or layout of the blog. Perhaps someone has a suggestion for what I should do with it. Anything would be helpful!

Thanks!

I'm a little confused about the purpose ??? So you pick an obscure animal, and then want us to do the research? Not sure what the goal here is. Besides, most of us would use the same resources you can use!

When it comes to layout though...it seems to me that many similar blogs (in particular taxonomic ones) will have a single post about a subject, incorporating the information into the post (so, instead of 3 or 4 posts about Therizinosaurus, there would be 3 or 4 subheadings within a single post).

No, I do the research, I write the posts. The viewer (or reader) picks the species of dinosaur that they want to see next week out of a given group of dinosaurs. I was just wondering if anyone on this forum knew of any other information for this week's particular dinosaur that I don't know. Nasutoceratops is a relatively new find and as such there isn't a whole heck of a lot of information on the animal. That is, I am trying to stretch all the information I can find into daily posts. Could you perhaps explain to me a bit more about your idea? Do you mean have one long post for one week's species that is continually added? I may need more confirmation from you, though I am probably over thinking it...

Thanks!
