I don't know if this is in the correct topic, so I apologise if it's not.

I'm looking for a large glass display cabinet to display Sideshow statues, I've decided I'm going to collect them. Don't ask how a 19 year old is going to achieve this, I don't know. But I'm going to try, lol.

As affordable as possible, since I'm obviously not the richest person in the world. My dad has taken a big liking to the statues as well, so maybe he will help me in this goal...

Thanks for your help, guys!

I was gonna say that, too, although I think Sideshows are too big for Detolf. Not sure if Ikea has bigger cabinets.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

I did look on Ikea, but can't really see anything that would be suitable... I probably just need to have a better look.

Do you have a local Ikea where you could go and ask directly? They might be able to help if you told them specifically what you were looking for :)

There's one in Cardiff, which I plan on visiting. That's a good idea, thank you! :)

Any prehistoric model collector knows how difficult it can be to find elongate cases; horizontally constructed cases are much more common. Consider the length of the longest item you intend to have (for example, the Sideshow Apatosaurus is 43") before investing in a display fixture. Remember that these pieces are quite heavy as well. They are not roto-cast resin, but polystone, and can weigh up to 20 pounds in most cases, so you will want to make sure every shelf in the cabinet will be strong enough to handle them. The manufacturer may be able to suggest a weight capacity for you.

That's a very good thing to keep in mind.

I have considered the dimensions of each statue but I completely forgot how much they would weigh, so thank you for that. I'll definitely need to think this through before purchasing anything.
