Hey Chris,
Great work, I love the shots with the kids. Is the public actually allowed to get that up close and personal with your creations? How much maintenance do you end up doing. When I was with the museum we did a life sized mammoth group that I sculpted on the grounds in fibreglass reinforced plastic and during the summer months I was out there at least once a month sometimes more repairing vandalism. The most common thing was they would try to pry the glass eyes out or spray graffiti on them. I don't expect vandalism with your stuff being on your property but all those hugs must wear off the paint or break off feathers.

Knowing the clowns you hang with wouldn't those be grenades instead of balls and saw blades instead of plates  ;)

They can get pretty darn close..lol Well we say " no touching the exhibits " but it doesn't always dissuade..even with parents.  No one has tried to get a souvenir off of them or swing off of horns and tails..yet. Nature has been my worst problem so far..the feathers aren't shrunk like the skin is so doesn't hold the paint as well, so they chip a bit. the odd tree limb falls and hits one so far with no permanent damage.  I have a few to touch up with paint, maybe next month...but that's all do to the bird droppings which dissolves even the most expensive paint I throw on there.
