Excellent replica, definitely deserving of being the mascot for Hogwarts!

This is a Triceratops skull that the Children's Museum has been working on for the last 9 years.  The lower Mandible has been removed and is being worked on seperately.  This skull has been crushed so that the frill is smashed in from side to side.  I was told that eventually they might cut off the frill and some how put it into place.  The paleontologist I talked too said he thought T-rex could probably eat and digest the skulls.

Cool pics. :)
BTW, last time I went there one of the guides started talking to me about one of the dinosaurs and...
Me: I know.
Guide: Oh, you do?
Yeah, I've loved them since I was three.
Hmm. I guess you'd love going in the lab.
You bet!
Well, you coming or not!
Yay!

Long story short it was amazing!

Yes it is cool.  When were you last there?  Do you live somewhere near by?
Last summer. Actually nowhere near it, sadly. :'( ^-^

:)  In the back room behind the Paleo-Lab they had this big T-rex head with a Paleo-Lab Worker standing next to it.  I believe I've seen this head before.  Does anyone know where?

In the back room behind the Paleo-Lab, they have some cast that be moved around and assembled or torn down in about 3 hours.  Theyare Edmontosaurus, Torosaurus, and Tyrannosaurus.

One of the neat things I saw in the back room of the Paleo-Lab was this Monoclonius skull from the Judith River Formation.
