Hello, just to say that because it is certainly too obvious, I  haven't seen on the website the art of the Bronto (whereas other dinos are pictured), which is at the end of the small comics sold with the toys (second wave).
It ressemble a lot at the one at http://www.dinoridersworld.com/museum-prototypes.html but it's not exactly the same (front is different).

I would say that this is artwork based on the Diplodocus. It probably got changed because they thought the Bronto would look too much like the Diplo.

I recall seeing that when I was little and being confused..it looked like a new figure but also like the Diplo..so I couldn't figure it out..lol

And because the art of the bronto looks so much like the diplo, we can even think that it's one of the diplo's first prototype.
