Hello, I've been lurking here since the Maastrichtian, so I already feel like I know most of you. I got into collecting when my niece was born and I wanted to get her a good set of animal figures, and got hooked on ordering dinosaurs online. Knowing full well how expensive this was going to get, I decided to settle upon one genus. Can you guess? That's it - Triceratops! I'll explain later the complicated process it took to decide upon that. Anyone else focus on one type or group of dinosaur?
Anyhoo, I'm excited to be a part of the forum, which for years has been invaluable to me as a source of information and entertainment, and look forward to meeting all of you! When I get my new camera and figure out how to post images, I'll share my collection of over a hundred Triceratops models and figures, as well as few other sneaky ceratopsians!
So thanks, and glad to be here!

In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

(Spell check must go insane around here with all the Latin Names, I keep seeing red lines under my text!)

Thanks Dr Admin! And no, can never have too many sauropterygians either. The Invicta Plesiosaur was a childhood favourite!

Welcome to the forum and nice to meet you. I identify with anyone that "Owns " a particular species or genus .....mine is as most know, Psittacosaurus and I am the one responsible for the threads here regarding that dinosaur. You are fortunate to collect a type of dinosaur that has many models and figures in the hundreds availible to you, as well as many similar types as well. There are just not many figures for psittacosaurus so I find myself working with higher end custom made or unique models. Anyways nice to meet you and hope you enjoy your stay here.
Authors with varying competence have suggested dinosaurs disappeared because of meteorites...God's will, raids by little green hunters in flying saucers, lack of standing room in Noah's Ark, and palaeoweltschmerz—Glenn Jepsen

Thanks Spitter and Dinolord! Patrx, I'm getting my camera today on the way to work, once I figure everything out, I will start posting pictures. Actually I just woke up now to find a Bob Morales Torosaurus in the mail! Hi Amargasaurus, Psittacosaurus deserves more figures. I only have two myself. Nice to meet everyone!
